A+ After School Program (provided by the YMCA)


The YMCA A+ program provides enrichment, physical development/ coordination activities and supervised homework time. Students have a variety of things to do, which includes arts, crafts, drama, sports and homework.


Days of the week: Monday thru Friday

Start and end times: 2:15pm – 5:30pm / 1:30pm – 5:30pm (Wednesdays)

Grade Level: Kindergarten thru 5th Grade

Bricks 4 Kidz: Building Future Engineers with LEGO® Bricks


Engineering Adventures after school curriculum introduces kids to concepts of engineering, coding, architecture, and mechanics using LEGO®!  Students will develop problem solving and critical thinking skills. The Bricks 4 Kidz® approach to learning is imaginative, multi-sensory and fun!  (Limited to 14 seats per class)

Hip-Hop Dance


Students will learn how to dance utilizing hip-hop dance terminology and technique. They will gain an understanding of hip-hop dance foundations like the bounce, the rock, the wave, and the roll. Movement instruction will also include hip-hop social dance like the running man. Students will have fun dancing with their peers, learn new ways to move and how to engage with music.

Little Vet School (Sylvan)


Inspiring young minds is what we do.  The Little Vet School inspires young minds to become passionate about health and explore careers in medicine.  Through hands-on activities, role-play and interactive demonstrations, children explore the exciting world of healthcare.  In the Fall, we will focus on cats and in the Spring, we will focus on dogs.  At Little Vet School, students will assume the role of a veterinarian and learn how to perform a nose-to-tail exam, the importance of proper nutrition, perform a tick check and identify animal body language.

Parkour

Q School Junior Golf


Q School LLC offers golf lessons to children on site at Nu’uanu School with all equipment provided.  Lessons focus on basic athletic skills and coordination, as well as the fundamental golfing skills of putting, chipping, pitching and full swings.  Students learn about rules, etiquette and math while participating in a variety of games designed to encourage sound golf skills, introduce practice techniques, friendly competition and fun!
