Volunteer to keep our school campus beautiful!

AON normally holds two Campus Beautification events each year, one in the Fall and the other in the Spring.  These are half-day events (typically a Saturday) that include landscaping, repainting classroom shelving, and planting trees.

Our next Campus Beautification event will be held on March 9, 2024 from 9am -12pm

Mahalo to all our Campus Beautification Volunteers!

Thank you to all the families who came out to support our Fall Campus Beautification Day. We were able to clean up the Butterfly Garden, the Hawaiian and Aquaponics Garden, and prune many of the plants and shrubs all around campus. We repainted some of the cubbies and Nene footprints around the school to give them a fresh new look. All the water fountains were scrubbed and sanitized, the cubbies and bulletin boards were all wiped down, the sidewalks and one of the playgrounds were power washed, and we scrubbed down the school signage. We had a special team that worked hard to empty out a large storage room that was filled to the ceiling with old equipment for many years. There were so many projects big and small. We tackled them all with our wonderful volunteers!

Special thanks go out to Mr. Solomon Enos and his children, Momo and Eulabee, for doing such a fabulous job repainting and preserving our precious Mama Nene statue in the circle and for donating all the supplies. Also, a special shout out to Gelacios Landscaping and Pressure Washing, LLC for coming out to help us tackle some of the bigger projects.

We hope you all had a fun day and would be happy to see you all again along with some new volunteers for our Spring Campus Beautification Day! The school looks amazing and it is all thanks to our Nu'uanu Ohana.
