A: Just dance Nuuanu 2022 is a fundraiser for Aikane O Nu‘uanu that also aims to get students and their families moving.
Q: When is Just Dance Nuuanu 2022?
A: Just dance Nu‘uanu 2022 kicks off on Monday, February 28th. The event week will be during spirit week which is March 7-11, 2022 and will culminate with the event day on March 11, 2022. You can continue to donate to the fundraiser until March 18, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. HST.
Q: What will the donations be used for?
A: Aikane O Nu‘uanu’s goal is to raise $20,000 from the Just Dance Nuuanu 2022 fundraiser. All proceeds will be used toward funding a new playground, purchasing new furniture in all our keiki’s classroom, and to upgrade technology on campus.
Q: How do I register?
A: Registering for Just Dance Nuuanu 2022 is easy! Go to mybooster.com, click sign up, click ‘I’m a parent/guardian, enter your name, email and other information require, search for Nuuanu Elementary or enter registration code: 174-482, and register your student by entering their name and classroom. Q: How do I share the fundraiser with friends and families?
A: After you register on mybooster.com, start pledging by clicking “enter pledge” or “View participants dashboard” to get links to share with friends and family. See our Donation Page for more details.
Q: How do donations work?
A: Create your families Just Dance Nuuanu 2022 account on mybooster.com. Share your donation page with family and friends. Families and friends can use your unique URL to pledge an amount per minute of dancing or giving a flat donation.
If your friends or family prefer to donate money via a check, please make checks payable to Aikane O Nuuanu and submit your check donation along with your child’s full name, classroom number, and grade in a sealed envelope addressed to “Aikane O Nuuanu Treasurer” in the school office by March 18, 2022 for a chance to win prizes. Q: How does the pledge-per-minute work?
A: Families and friends can choose to donate by giving money for every minute of dancing or by simply giving a flat donation. A pledge per minute means the sponsor will pay the amount they pledge for every dance minute. For pledges-per-minute, the cap is 35 mins. If you submit 50 mins, we are only allowed to input 35 mins on mybooster.com. So, if you would like to donate more, choose the flat donation option.
Q: What are the prizes?
A: There are lots of opportunities to win prizes.
Registration: The first 50 students who create their Just Dance Nuuanu 2022 account will win a prize package.
Highest donations: The top three students with the highest donations will win a $100, $50 and $25 Target gift card, respectively.
Movement minutes: All students who submit their movement minutes by March 18, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (HST) on the google form will be entered for a change to win a $50 i-trampoline gift card.
Grand prize raffle: All students who register for Dance Fit Nuuanu 2022 on mybooster.com and who secure donations through the mybooster.com website will be entered into a raffle for $100 gift card to Kids City.

Q: How do I submit my child’s movement minutes?
A: Use this google form to submit the total minutes of movement your child did between the promotion period of February 28, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. to March 11, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. HST. Submit your minutes by March 18, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. HST to be entered into a chance to win the movement minutes prize.

If donations are less than $250, families can print an online payment receipt. If the donation is over $250, Aikane can provide a receipt and letter for your donation. Please contact treas@nuuanuschool.org.
